Sunset HS Lacrosse has limited funds available to help those in financial need. This financial assistance is to be used for CLUB FEES. Other fees and lacrosse expenses may not be covered (e.g. uniforms, USALacrosse, THPRD fees, equipment).
Sunset HS Lacrosse shall not discriminate in the administration of its financial aid policies because of race, color, religion, national origin or age in violation of existing state or federal law or regulations. The distribution of financial aid shall be based upon demonstrated financial need and applies to team dues; other fees and charges remain the player’s responsibility.
- The dollar amount available may vary by year. The assistance is only valid for the current lacrosse season. It is necessary to reapply if assistance is needed in subsequent years.
- In accepting this financial aid assistance, the parent will commit to help Sunset Youth and HS Lacrosse by volunteering where and when needed. The parent and player will sign an agreement to that effect and will work with the volunteer coordinator to satisfy the requirement.
- All applications will be considered by the Sunset HS Lacrosse Board of Directors, though only the club president will know the name of the applicant.
- Should the financially-assisted player fail to meet his/her commitment to the team (as described in item 2 above), that player will not be eligible to apply for this assistance in the future.
