Sunset Youth Lacrosse welcomes all girls and boys in K- 8th grade living in the Sunset High School Attendance Boundary
Mission
Our mission is focused on teaching lacrosse in a safe, fun and enriching environment so that our student athletes can learn the values of sportsmanship, camaraderie and competition.
Recreation League
The Sunset Youth Lacrosse Recreation program introduces kids to the game of lacrosse, coaching the basic fundamentals, skill development, understanding the rules of the game, with an emphasis on good sportsmanship and team skills.
Select Tournament Teams
The Sunset Youth Boys Select Team is a try-out based competitive development program open to boys in grades 5/6 & 7/8. The program focuses on enhanced development of lacrosse skills and fundamentals for players seeking a more competitive level of play.

We are looking forward to an amazing 2026 lacrosse season!
Each player must complete BOTH an annual USA Lacrosse Membership initial (or renewal) fee AND the Sunset Youth Lacrosse registration.
ATTENTION: Start by verifying that your USA Lacrosse Membership is valid THROUGH the end of the season, before moving to registration. If your player is grade 3-8, you must have a valid (through June 2026) US Lacrosse membership. Renew that FIRST at USA Lacrosse .

Girls Teams Grades 1 - 8
Girls 1- 8 grade registration fee covers:
- Sunset Lacrosse shooter shirt
- Practice Fields - 2x week
- Game referees
- Coaches fees
- Uniforms

Medical & Concussion Resources
Youth players and parents are encouraged to review concussion materials available at the CDC Heads Up Program and to obtain a Baseline Concussion Test through ImPact or their pediatrician.
Financial Aid
Sunset Lacrosse believes no student who wants to play lacrosse should be left out due to financial hardship. For those unable to pay the full amount for a season of lacrosse, there are two good financial aid options available to our players.

Our program only works through volunteers' efforts. Please volunteer! We can use your help in many different ways.

Volunteer needs include: Assistant Coach, Team Parent, Clinic Coordinator, Uniform & Swag Coordinator and other miscellaneous needs.
- These roles are easy, fun and very rewarding. If you are new to a volunteer role, please job-shadow at the start of the season.
- Get involved, meet and work with fellow lacrosse parents!
