THPRD Information
ALL YOUTH PLAYERS MUST HAVE A VALID
THPRD # TO PARTICIPATE IN LACROSSE
If you are an out of district participant with a THPRD ID, you can renew or update your son/daughter's status on line at the THPRD website. Even if they have a number from many years ago you can renew on line. You should renew and select the Spring 2010 session when you are on line.
If you are out of district and have NEVER initiated a THPRD ID you'll have to go into a THPRD facility (such as Cedar Hills Rec Center, Sunset Pool, or the main THPRD on Walker Rd) to activate the process. Again you'll select Spring 2010 as your active quarter.
In either case, you can expect to pay only one quarter of fees in order to participate in lacrosse. We have been told that the THPRD quarterly fee for Spring 2010 will be $67. Their website currently lists $54 as the fee, however this is for fall and winter quarters.
** Please Note ** If applying for Family Assistance with THPRD, please enter "Beaverton Youth Lacrosse" as the league (NOT"Sunset Youth Lacrosse") as the name of the league on the application. Sunset Youth Lacrosse is a member club in the Beaverton Youth Lacrosse League. Applications with SYL listed as the league may be turned down. Thank You.
THPRD Fields and Inclement Weather
In the Event of Bad Weather, please refer to the following documents issued by THPRD regarding the use of their fields
Turf Fields are considered closed to play under the following conditions:
· Outside air temperature is 32 degrees or lower following significant rainfall rain in the proceeding 2 hours.
· Significant rainfall following a period of weather where the temperature was 32 degrees or lower.
· Ice, snow, frost or slush is present on the playing surface.
· Visible bodies of surface water are present on the field.
The above conditions could produce an unsafe playing surface or result in significant damage, that is time consuming to repair and can jeopardize future use of that field.
Fields may be closed if the following conditions are present:
· Rain following cold temperatures. (Can create slow drainage.)
· Heavy frost present on the field.
